London is one of the “big four” fashion centres in the world alongside, Paris, Milan and New York.
The shopping meccas of the West End and Covent Garden are world famous, but London retailing operates on a much broader stage. London is home to 40,000 shops, including many flagship stores such as Harrods, Selfridges and Harvey Nichols.
With the addition of Westfield London to the capital’s retail offering, London is fast becoming the ultimate lifestyle destination. It will come as no surprise that there are over 375,000 adults working in the retail industry in London,this is more than any other region in the UK.
